About our founders - Karin and Wendy:
Women’s Business World was established by women who understand the world of women!
Karin and Wendy, our founders, identified a need for a three-dimensional communications offering, which speaks to women directly, through various sensory experiences, be it reading our guides, surfing our website or attending one of our exciting events!

KARIN IGESUND is both a mom and entrepreneur. She’s managed various women-related projects around the country, published informative lifestyle and business articles, presented talks on radio and has run her own business for several years. She has advised numerous entrepreneurs on Marketing and Business Management strategies for success in business. Karin is passionate about networking – particularly connecting women through effective marketing opportunities, which benefit the consumer and business alike. In her free time she hikes, rock climbs and travels. She is a keen collector of first edition books.

WENDY WILLIAMS-ENGELBRECHT is a mother of 2. She built up her credible reputation in the media world as an operations manager for an advertising agency followed by her position as sales and marketing director for a successful publishing house. She is well-respected in the advertising world for her vision and effective marketing initiatives. Wendy gained her business experience whilst running her own modelling agency. She enjoys camping and the outdoors and loves to socialise. She derives great pleasure in sharing knowledge and learns something new every day from the talented and successful women she meets.
